Removable Drive Bays

  Removable Drive Bays, also called mobile racks are a convenient way of mounting several smaller removable drives in one to three larger drive bays. CCSI has drive bay kits to mount two 2.5 inch drives in one 3.5 inch drive bay, four 2.5 inch drives in one 5.25 inch drive bay or eight 2.5 inch drives in two 5.25 inch drive bays. We also offer drive bay kits for three 3.5 inch drives in two 5.25 inch drive bays and four or five 3.5 inch drives in three 5.25 inch drive bays. These units allow you to retro fit an older chassis for newer higher capacity hard drives or change from fixed hard drives to hot swappable hard drives. SAS and SATA hard drives are supported and many of these kits also feature fans to help keep the drives cool.
