You can choose either one or two CPUs per node. They must be the same within a node, but can be different CPU models can be used in each node.

For best performance, RAM should be installed in set of three pieces per CPU. You can choose either ECC/REG or Non Registered, Non ECC RAM in each node, but the same type must be used for both CPUs within a node. The maximum Non Registered, Non ECC RAM supported is 24GB per node.
